On 1 December 2020 Polish law concerning holders of humanitarian visas changed. According to the new law people legally staying in Poland based on humanitarian visa are allowed to legally work in Poland. Additional work permit is not required.
Before 1 December 2020 holders of humanitarian visas could not legally work in Poland regardless of whether they had work permits or not.
In 2020 humanitarian visas were mostly issued to Belarus citizens. This change can be especially important for them.
