We are delighted to present a report ‘At the border’ which is a result of the monitoring on access to the procedure of granting international protection at border crossings in Terespol, Medyka and Warszawa Okęcie Airport conducted between January and April 2016.
The monitorming was held between January and April 2016 and confirmed what foreigners have been reporting to NGOs for years, which is that the border police obstructs access to the asylum procedure on a massive scale at the Belarus-Poland border.
The report is an outcome of the „Nadchodzą! Jak ich przywitamy?” (‘They’re coming! How will we welcome them?’) project conducted together with the Institute of Public Affaires Foundation, Panopticon Foundation and the Polish Migration Forum Fundation in the frames of the Obywatele dla demokracji (Citizens for democracy) programme, supported by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA FM).
