Female asylum seekers and refugees as victims of violence in Poland

As shown in the recent research by Association for Legal Intervention, gender-based violence against female asylum seekers and refugees seems to be an invisible issue for the Polish decision-makers. First of all, the under-reporting is very substantial. Secondly, no culturally- sensitive measures have been so far developed in the Polish violence prevention system, that would be effective in counteracting this phenomenon and protecting the victims.
